Elsa Inspired

So like, I was supposed to go out today, but everyone cancelled on me, so instead I thought "Why not be a girl and play with some makeup?"
Yeh, so here's my first tutorial, and it was inspired by Elsa the Snow Queen. Who doesn't love Frozen? And who doesn't love this beautiful Snow Queen.
Like I said, this is my first tutorial so bare with me I have any mistakes whatsoever. I'm trying to survive on a limited kit, because I am still saving up for some real good quality ones.

I will just focus on the eyes in this tutorial as its the main part to Elsa's look...

  • get your lids ready with a base primer and a neutral shade of eyeshadow all the way to the lid.
  • apply some purple glittery eye shadow into the outer and inner thirds of your eye lid. TIP: use an eye sponge instead of a brush in a dabbing motion to increase the intensity of the colour.
  • apply a lighter shade of glittery purple shadow. here I used a mix of a light purple and pink int the middle of the lid. Blend with a clean brush to avoid any harsh lines.
  • apply some silver eyeshadow into your tear ducts, and onto the bottom inner thirds. This just brightens up and brings out the eye.
  • mix some pink and red eyeshadow along with a very pigmented pink blush and apply onto your outer V, bringing it up just above your crease.
  • apply white eye liner onto your lower water line, and line only the outer thirds of your upper and bottom lash line.
  • Curl your eye lashes and apply a thick coat of mascara, on both your bottom and upper lashes. PS this look would look better with some falsies, I just didnt have any on me, so I encourage you to wear some false eye lashes.
  • lastly, contour your cheek bones, temples and jawline. TIP: I like to use a brown eye shadow, because it doesnt have that orange undertone, like bronzers, so it gives you a darker "shade-like" pigment. Apply some bluch onto the apples of your cheek, blending it onto your cheek bones.
  • Oh and dont forget your nice soft pink lipstick. MWA
thanks for reading!!

ps: if you guys noticed, I didnt name my products because some of you may probably have better quality makeup, I just had to work with what I had.
pps: i dont advice you to wear this for an everyday thing, probably just for dress up parties and formal occasions.
